Africas situation

Despite everything, i have to admit that i appreciate all that God has enabled me have in my humble life. The situation at the horn of Africa has made me more appreciative of many little things.
Yesterday, i was watching the news and could not help holding back tears.
Kenya is a truly blessed country and despite our shortcomings i figured its about time with all the knowledge most of our folks posses its way over time that we came up with solutions to certain issues. We should not be blaming each other now but look to see what we can do to help,.
Site of malnourished dieing children with their parents and all hope of recovering their soure of live lihood diminishing because of the continued drought is so sad.
Its in the same north eastern region that we are experience a huge number of refugees flocking into our country to get the much needed solace, peace and well being in their lives.in the process most loose their entire families together with their dignity. Something has to be done and its a huge responsibility as our country has to stand to aid its people and those coming in seeking refuge.
Left with nothing to live for but they still hope to get something better at the end. Am not such a good writer but this situation is so sad i just hope those capable to help and the relevant groups will be able to come and salvage the situation.
I just hope that all  this people will get the help they need
Apart from this, i believe its a call to get up and use other means to get the required surplus for our country. Its time we resorted to other ways of ensuring that even the dry lands are well used to be ablke to produce and sustain the communities within the regions.
